What is the difference between the Windows or Mac plugin and the Web Client?

Solution The plugin is a small program which must be installed on your personal computer. The plugin provides an interface allowing communication between your personal computer and the Web Conferencing server. This installation then provides for 2-way VoIP communication, plus a variety of other administration and participant functions.

The Web Client is a Java-based web application that provides an interface to the Web Conferencing server without the need to install the plugin. It can be used with any browser (MACs, Linux, and Windows operating systems). Those using this interface can watch, listen, and text chat. However, no moderator can use this interface, nor can sessions be recorded. It does require that the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) Version 1.5, or newer, be installed.
