Why, when logging into a webinar room, am I told an updated plugin is available?

Solution The tcConference technology is updated from time to time, the purpose being to provide additional functions and/or to eliminate "bugs". When informed that a new plugin is available, follow the instructions for installation. When completed, you will see a "Finished" notification. Firewall software may prompt you to "allow" or "disallow"; choose the option to "Always Allow". Usually you are given the option to use the existing plugin, or to upgrade to the new version. If you happen to be running late for a meeting and need to get into the conference immediately, you might wish to use the existing version, and then upgrade later. Be aware, though, that with a high speed connection, installing the latest version usually takes less than a minute.
