Web Administration Overview

This article is just a brief overview of the Web Administration Functions.

The technology consists of server and client software. The client software, or plugin, is downloaded and installed on PCs, providing a "virtual room". Alternatively, users may use a Web Client application in which case the plugin is not required - there are some restrictions - see articles in the Web Client section of the knowledgebase.

Connectivity is provided via the Internet.

Administration Functions

A Web Administration Tool is provided to control the management and configuration features of the technology. The functions are grouped as follows:
  • Master Administration: Functions to create and maintain Community Servers.
  • Virtual Server Administration: Functions to customize Community Servers, including creating and maintaining individual rooms within Community Servers.
  • Room Administration: Utilities for the customization of individual rooms.
